To sharpen one's sense of observation and to go beyond it, to learn morphological drawing as a means of expression to be developed in order to express broader concepts. Acquire flexibility of gesture in drawing.
Through games and quick exercises, learn to transcribe a reality in volume using two-dimensional drawing. To grasp the volume of the body and its potential for movement, its occupation of space, thanks for example to short poses between 5 and 10 minutes, drawing from a model without looking at the sheet, drawing the outline of the body.
Learning human anatomical proportions through comparisons and observations of one's own body and that of a live model. To become one's own model for the representation of parts from one's own body. More specifically the hand and feet, explore their symbolic function in the context of art history.
Each session will begin with a 10 to 15 minute discussion around a photo of a work, historical or contemporary, to build up some references.
