Economics

Jézabel Couppey-Soubeyran is an economist and lecturer at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne where she teaches monetary and financial economics and leads a professional master's degree program dedicated to banking risk control and compliance.

Her work focuses on money, banking, financial instability and regulation. The author of numerous articles and a monthly column in Le Monde, she regularly contributes to public debate. She has published several books on economics for academics and the general public, including Blablabanque. Le Discours de l'inaction (Michalon, Sept. 2015), L'économie pour toutes published by La Découverte with Marianne Rubinstein (Prix Lycéen Lire l'économie 2014), and Parlons banque en 30 questions (with Christophe Nijdam, Documentation française, 2nd edition, April 2018).
