Le dessin est au cœur de ma pratique.
Mon travail émerge d’un rapport poreux entre expérience corporelle réelle et expérience onirique, nourri par une hypersensibilité au toucher, aux odeurs et aux sons, qui conditionne mes choix de supports et d’outils. J'appréhende le support comme une surface de contact active. Je prête une attention inquiète aux formes sur le seuil de la disparition ainsi qu’aux présences qui persistent au bord de leur effacement.
Le dessin est pour moi une archive, une archéologie haptique et une hantise fragmentaire. Il m’est viscéral et nécessaire.
Drawing lies at the heart of my practice.
My work emerges from a fluid relationship between real bodily experience and dreamlike experience, fuelled by a hypersensitivity to touch, smells and sounds, which shapes my choice of media and tools. I view the medium as an active surface of contact. I pay anxious attention to forms on the brink of disappearance, as well as to presences that persist on the verge of fading away.
For me, drawing is an archive, a haptic archaeology and a fragmentary haunting. It is visceral and essential to me.
