Louise Glévéau Guerreiro discovered painting upon arriving at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, a craft she went on to develop in the studios of James Rielly and, later, Romain Bernini.
In the words of the organisers [of the prize], she “transforms the pictorial space into an immersive territory where the material becomes landscape.
