Congratulations to Dora Jeridi, a 2022 graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris who won the Prix Pierre Cardin 2024 from the Académie des Beaux-Arts.

Dora Jeridi is a graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, Djamel Tatah's studio. Her work is characterised by the development of a fiery, energetic and expressive practice that bears witness to a strong desire for the material and a greedy, sometimes voracious, relationship with painting. For the artist, painting is a vehicle for transcending the discursive and intelligible logic of language. The pictorial medium appears to be the most tangible expression of an excess of reality that overflows the textual and makes it possible to show what cannot be said. Dora Jeridi has exhibited at the Hôtel des Arts in Toulon, the Institut Français in Madrid, the Galerie Perrotin in Paris and the Marianne Boesky Gallery in New York. After winning the Khalil de Chazournes prize awarded by the Amis des Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2022, she was the winner of the 9th edition of the Bourse Révélations Emerige and presented her first solo exhibition at the Mor Charpentier gallery in Paris in 2023. She took part in the group exhibition Le jour des peintres at the Musée d'Orsay and will present her first solo exhibition in New York in January 2025 with Galerie Perrotin.
