Ateliers ouverts 2024

Detailed programme

For 2 days, the Ateliers Ouverts are a unique opportunity for the general public and professionals to discover the young creativity and artistic diversity produced by students at the Beaux-Arts de Paris.
Around thirty studios, run by renowned artists, are transformed into exhibition spaces, where students can meet and showcase their work: installations, paintings, photos, sculptures, drawings, videos and more.

Studio training is the hallmark of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, and is named after the renowned artist who runs it.

To punctuate this exceptional moment, events outside the studio offer an overview of works by students and artists who have graduated from the School: a display of student work in the glass courtyard, exhibitions of the winners of the Prix des Amis des Beaux-Arts de Paris and the nominees for the Prix du Dessin Contemporain, exhibitions of Tiepolo and autohistorias, "Saint-Germain des Print", a fair of prints and micro-publications, performances and screenings...

The Ateliers Ouverts also give visitors the chance to learn how to draw from a live model at a trial class run by the Nouvelle Académie des Amateurs, and to take advantage of the print sale.

On Saturdays, you can also explore the workshops at Saint-Ouen, either on your own or under the guidance of students and teachers: ceramics, forging, composite materials, modelling, moulding and cutting.
