Congratulations to Eva Jospin, a graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, elected to the Académie des beaux-arts section scultpure, in the seat previously held by Jean Cardot.
Born in Paris in 1975, Eva Jospin studied at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, graduating in 2002. She is a resident at the Villa Médicis in 2016-2017. Eva Jospin expresses herself mainly through sculpture and drawing. She speaks of nature, ecology, time and art history. In 2008, she took the forest as her subject, setting up what she calls her mental ballad by drawing and then sculpting forests and undergrowth out of cardboard.
