À première vue returns this summer, giving the galleries of Saint-Germain des Prés carte blanche to showcase the work of young artists who have graduated from Beaux-Arts de Paris.

This 5th edition will take place from July 3 to August 31, 2025, on the initiative of the Beaux-Arts de Paris, the jeudi des Beaux-Arts association and the Comité Professionnel des Galeries d'Art (CPGA). The aim of the event is to create a first link between young artists from the Beaux-Arts de Paris and the art galleries that coexist in the same district. Free of charge and open to all, day and night, À première vue offers a voyage of discovery and a look at young artists: photography, drawing, painting, sculpture...

Jeudi des Beaux-Arts prize
The Jeudi des Beaux-Arts prize, awarded to one of the artists in the exhibition, will be presented on July 3, during the vernissage in the presence of the artists, by a professional jury made up of :

  • Jean-Michel Alberola, painter and former teacher at the Beaux-Arts de Paris
  • Laurent Boudier, art critic and journalist at Télérama
  • Emmanuelle Henry, President of the Friends of the musée du quai Branly - Jacques Chirac

The Prix Jeudi des Beaux-Arts is supported by Marin Beaux-Arts.
