Romane Charlot, a 2024 graduate, is the winner of the L'apes-Seqens / Groupe ActionLogement call for projects, organized with Beaux-Arts de Paris, for the Esselières parking lot in Villejuif (94).
Objective: To make the Les Esselières parking lot hospitable within a residence and neighborhood undergoing major redevelopment. The artistic approach had to be coupled with a participatory approach, before, during and after the project.
Romane Charlot has developed a playful, immersive approach to the production of stained glass, based on light and simple forms, through participatory performances and workshops with members of the public from several local associations. In all, 7 to 8 sessions rich in exchanges and multi-handed creations. The installation is now complete, to the full satisfaction of the site's users.
L’apes-Groupe ActionLogement is a patron of the Filière Fresque & Art en situation at Beaux-Arts de Paris.
For the past 5 years, the association has been working with the school to develop artistic projects involving elected representatives, associations and residents in the areas where the social landlord operates.
