How can artistic practice liberate colonial archive images from their silence?
As part of the exhibition, this workshop invites participants to explore the spaces between the traces of trauma and the act of healing. By placing the archive at the heart of the creative process, the aim is to work through the transition from endured narratives to images that finally find expression, framing these gestures as vehicles for healing and reclaiming.
During this session, artists Camille Soualem and Halida Boughriet invite us to engage with these fragmented narratives through visual experimentation and performative gestures. Drawing on a decolonial library, this workshop proposes experimenting with collective tools to imagine an archive that no longer simply endures the gaze, but can confront and challenge it.
