ENTRÉE LIBRE

7PM | PERFORMANCE
Baptiste Agnero-Rigot and Joséphine Loembe-Sauthat
30 minutes

A collective performance that unfolds like a chaotic gathering of spoken words, gestures and narratives, centring on the ideas of use, separation, the sacred and its desecration. “To desecrate is to restore to common use that which has been set apart in the realm of the sacred ’ Introducing this word into the realm of artworks is in itself a method and a horizon.
"The impossibility of use finds its chosen place in the Museum. The museification of the world is now complete. Museum here does not denote a physically defined place or space, but the separate dimension to which is transferred that which has ceased to be perceived as true and decisive."
G. Agamben, Profanation, Rivages poche, La Petite Bibliothèque collection, 2005. Payot-Rivages, Chapter: In Praise of Profanation.

Baptiste Agnero-Rigot, student in the Huynh studio.
Joséphine Loembe-Sauthat, graduate class of 2025.
