Documentaries, experimental films, fiction films, found footage: each project by the students of the Cogitore studio at Beaux-Arts de Paris explores, in its own way, the blurred boundaries and distinctions between these different narrative forms. 

At the intersection of the personal and the collective, of politics and aesthetics, these works hold as much promise for what is yet to come as they do for the unique artistic visions they embody. Hybrid, contemplative, furious, conceptual, participatory, cathartic films: a new generation of artists is emerging.
