6th edition of CRUSH
Crush is an opportunity to showcase the current work of young artists from the School to art professionals, exhibition curators, art critics, gallery owners, directors of art centres and museums, etc.
For this new edition, 98 fourth- and fifth-year students from Beaux-Arts de Paris are presenting their work in the Cour vitrée. All artistic practices are represented: painting, drawing and sculpture, as well as performance, video and photography.
For this exhibition, they were supported by three curators: Oulimata GUEYE, art critic and exhibition curator, Ingrid LUQUET-GAD, art critic, researcher and teacher, and Clément RAVEU, art critic, curator and author. For this occasion, a new configuration of the modular scenography designed by artist and designer Olivier VADROT was devised by the exhibitions department.

THE CURATORS
Oulimata GUEYE is a Senegalese and French art critic and exhibition curator. Her work is
based on research that combines contemporary art, literature, popular cultures and the history
of science and technology.
She has participated in numerous international projects focusing on electronic cultures, performance, experimental sound practices and media arts. She co-edited the book Digital Imaginaries. African Positions Beyond Binaries (ZKM-Kerber, 2021), and curated the exhibitions UFA – Université des Futurs Africains at Le Lieu Unique (2021) and Ars Memoriae at 601Artspace, New York (with Maarten Vanden Eynde, 2022).
In 2023, she was a visiting researcher at the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA). She teaches at ENSBA Lyon. She is also a member of the scientific committee of the Edouard Glissant Art Fund, AWARE's Women in AI and New Media Art programme, and the Steering Committee of the Museum of Black Civilisations in Dakar.
Ingrid LUQUET-GAD is an art critic, researcher and teacher based in Paris.
She is pursuing a PhD in art history at UNIL – University of Lausanne, focusing on the generation of so-called post-internet artists who emerged at the crossroads of the economic crisis and Web 2.0.
Her research focuses particularly on artist collectives, infrastructural criticism
and memory in the age of networks.
She has edited the art section of Les Inrockuptibles while regularly contributing to the French and international specialist press, including Artforum, Cura, Flash Art and Spike Art Magazine. She currently writes for Art Basel Stories and Numéro Art.
Her research extends and diverges into essays for exhibition catalogues, artists' books and conferences, most recently for the Julia Stoschek Foundation, the Fondation Cartier and Mudam Luxembourg. She is a lecturer at ÉCAL/École cantonale d'art de Lausanne.
Clément RAVEU born in 1993, lives and works in Paris, is a curator, author and art critic.
Freelancer, graduate of Pavillon Bosio and the École supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Nantes.
Alongside his artistic training, he studied the sociology of cultural policies and institutions
at the University of Nantes. His research focuses on the value systems and implicit scripts that
condition access to visibility, speech, and knowledge production in the artistic field.
Combining history and critical thinking, he experiments with writing, fiction, and exhibitions,
hybrid formats that combine collective practices and emancipatory potential.
Recently, he co-curated the exhibitions Sarah Maldoror: Tricontinental Cinema (MACTe, 2025) and Out of the Night of Norms, Out of Enormous Boredom (Palais de Tokyo, 2023).
As an author, he has contributed to numerous publications, notably for Paraguay Press, the Palais de Tokyo, PLS Magazine, Le Grand Café, the Salon de Montrouge, The Newspaper Jan Mot, the Maison des arts Georges et Claude Pompidou, Glassbox, Éditions Burn-Août and the CAPC in Bordeaux.
