Born in Neuilly in 1957, lives and works in the Paris region.
Graduated with honors from the Beaux-Arts de Paris, he is a teacher and president of the salon Réalités Nouvelles. He builds his research around questions of abstraction, nourished by the issues of determinism and speciation which are at the center of his work. He collaborates on projects bringing together art and science. He is a teacher and pedagogical manager at the preparatory class of the ABA (Ateliers Beaux-arts de la ville de Paris).
Continuing to paint today supposes a strong project underpinned by a conceptual requirement and its own technique. Hypocritical complaints about the death of painting are regularly refuted by works that affirm their singularity within a renewed tradition. Oliver Di Pizio produces drawings, paintings and installations that put the question of abstraction into crisis, which completes his action as president of the Salon Réalités Nouvelles.
