Les éditions des Beaux-Arts de Paris will be present at the Festival du livre de Paris 2025 to present exhibition catalogues, fine books and guides on the history and collections of the School.

An inexhaustible source of inspiration for many artists and writers, the sea is in honour of this 4th edition and will be celebrated in a «Gallery of the Sea». An invitation to immerse yourself in the universe of the abyss and their imaginaries, the gallery, framed by two exhibition venues, will include several spaces.

As an extension of the exhibition Pierre Alferi - Dessins, 2006-2021 currently on view at the Beaux-Arts de Paris, this evening is devoted to Pierre Alferi and his accomplices, through a number of creative experiences arising from these friendships. It will be an opportunity to see and hear several facets of his work, presented or replayed by Rodolphe Burger, Fanny de Chaillé and Grégoire Monsaingeon, Suzanne Doppelt and Paul Sztulman, Jacques Julien and Anne Portugal.

Co-published by Beaux-Arts de Paris and École nationale supérieure d'architecture Paris-Malaquais.

Anne Debarre and Maxime Decommer are teachers and researchers at the “Architecture, culture, société” laboratory of the École d'architecture Paris-Malaquais.

Guy Lambert is an architectural historian, lecturer at the École nationale supérieure d'architecture Paris-Belleville, and researcher at IPRAUS.

Round table discussion moderated by Déborah Laks with Blandine Chavanne, Anaïd Demir, Bruno Gaudichon, Patrizia Celli and Adèle Taillefait. Evocation of the careers of women artists and the example of Odette Pauvert who entered Beaux-Arts de Paris in 1922. Winner of the silver medal at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1923, she was the first woman painter to win the Prix de Rome for painting in 1925.
