14 rue Bonaparte, 75006 Paris

The Beaux-Arts de Paris are delighted to be co-hosting a project by Jean-Charles De Quillacq and the Galerie Marcelle Alix (Paris) with Art Basel Paris.

The Chapelle des Petits-Augustins at the Beaux-Arts de Paris will host an exhibition by Jean-Charles De Quillacq entitled ‘A REAL BOY’.
‘Nius ne goustons rien de pur’ wrote Montaigne in his Essais in 1588, evoking the variegated nature of beings and things, and the ambivalence of their feelings. This was the first time that the Italian term ‘morbidezza’ was introduced into the French language, a soft, composite quality that artist Jean-Charles De Quillacq would like to introduce into the casts already in the Chapelle des Petits-Augustins. Where are the bodies on site?
