Lucas Bouan Tsobgny, a 2021 graduate of Beaux-Arts de Paris, creates a bust of Marianne in the effigy of Joséphine Baker, a free and committed artist who entered the Pantheon in 2021.

The project was born of a collaboration between the city of Fleury-Mérogis and Beaux-Arts de Paris, with the agreement of the Baker family, represented by Brian Bouillon-Baker. A patinated plaster copy of the work, to be followed by a bronze edition, was inaugurated on January 18, 2025 at the Fleury-Mérogis town hall.

In the studio. The imaginary world of Creation

This conference explores the symbolic and social function of the Atelier in the imagination and creative process of artists. Wide-angle, interdisciplinary and transnational, it examines the anthropological, philosophical, aesthetic and cultural fundamentals of the Studio over the long term (second nineteenth-early twenty-first centuries), in order to grasp the realia of a matrix structure as the imaging ego of artists at work.

This monograph is dedicated to photographer and video artist Marie José Burki, studio head at the Beaux-Arts de Paris. It presents major works from her major series, accompanied by exhibition views.

In a world saturated with images and information, Marie José Burki's films, photographs, installations and performances reveal the media strategies to which we are constantly exposed, in order to reconnect ourselves with the living.

Introduction with a critical text by Laurent Busine.

The proposal by François Toison, a graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Paris 2024 and student in the Fresco & Art in Situation programme, was chosen for a new covering for the reception bungalow and the outside gatehouse.
