Neïl Beloufa (born in 1985 in Paris, France) is a French-Algerian artist/director who lives and works in Paris. Through his practice, he questions society and its issues through different mediums: films, sculptures and installations. He studied at the Beaux-Arts de Paris and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris; at the California Institute of the Arts, Valencia (USA); at the Cooper Union, New York and at the Fresnoy - Studio national des Arts Contemporain, Tourcoing (France).

As part of the Troubles, Dissent and Aesthetics Chair coordinated by Fabrice Bourlez and Ilana Eloit, and in collaboration with professors Patricia Ribault and Clara Schulmann, a live meeting with philosopher Rosi Braidotti.

Dreaming of elsewhere and of the past, passionate about horses, subjugated by the spectacle of nature, French Romanticism was nourished by various sources, translated into drawings in watercolor as well as in pen and pencil.

While waiting for the opening of the Théâtre des expositions, a live program will be broadcast on Facebook every Thursday and Friday from 2:30 pm: performances, concerts, readings, two-voice visits, sound interventions.

Many students and graduates of the Beaux-Arts de Paris are participating in this charity exhibition.
Among the twenty artists on display are students Pierre Mérigot, Olga Sabko, Tristan Chev, and Elladj Lincy, as well as graduates Laura Tolen (2020 graduate), Johanna Mirabel (2019 graduate), Laurie van Melle (2019 graduate), and Julia Haumont (2017 graduate).

Ymane Chabi-Gara, winner of the 2nd edition of the Sisley - Beaux-Arts de Paris Prize for young creation.

 

Sisley is committed to the Beaux-Arts de Paris through the creation and inauguration of a new prize aimed at supporting young contemporary creation, as well as the place of women in art and society. 
For this second edition, Ymane Chabi-Gara won the Sisley - Beaux-Arts de Paris Prize for young creation.
